This fabric is made of 100% cotton and feels natural, breathable and skin-friendly. The different qualities vary from airy and open-woven to sturdy and durable. Cheesecloth has a light, open structure of approximately 80 g/m², while canvas with approximately 225 g/m² provides a sturdy base for heavier applications. This allows you to tailor unbleached cotton to the purpose of your project.

Processing and maintenance

Wash the fabric before use to limit any shrinkage. Unbleached cotton is easy to process with a universal needle and strong sewing thread. For sturdier canvas qualities, a thicker needle may be useful. Cut or cut the fabric with sharp fabric scissors or rotary cutter and finish the edges with a zigzag stitch or serger to limit fraying. The fabric can be washed at a maximum of 40 degrees. Can be dried at medium temperature and ironed at low setting.
