Tips for processing linen

Before starting to sew, we recommend washing the fabric at 40°C. Linen can shrink during the first wash, so pre-washing will prevent surprises afterwards.
Use a universal needle and iron the fabric slightly damp before cutting. This makes sewing more precise and prevents fraying.

Because linen has a slight wrinkle structure, the end result has a natural and characterful appearance. If you prefer a tighter finish, you can topstitch seams or finish with bias tape.
