ribcord is a high -quality furniture fabric with a characteristic rib structure and short, dense pole for a soft and full grip. Thanks to the 1 cm wide ribs and the polar weight of approximately 385 g/m², this fabric not only feels luxurious, but it is also surprisingly durable. The fabric is composed of 88 % polyester and 12 % polyamide, which means that it is resistant to wear and remains colorful, even with intensive use. Ribcord is therefore ideally suited for a variety of applications: from comfortable armchairs and couch covering to decorative cushions, wall panels and even handmade hugs and accessories.

Processing and maintenance

When processing ribcord, a sharp textile scissors or roll cutter is recommended for tight cutting edges. Use a universal needle (80/12) to run the fabric smoothly under the machine. Finish the seams with a zigzag or cover lock stitch to minimize fraying. You treat stains immediately by gently dabbing with a damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent; aggressive brushes or abrasives can damage the Pole.
